A 3 day remote training course for 3 hours per day on our Aztec EDS system allowing best practise analysis and interpretations of results
Please book your course at least 3 weeks before the start date to give us enough time to arrange. Courses are for customers who have used the systems for a while, have basic operational knowledge rather than completely new users.
COURSE NAME: AZtec EDS Analysis
COURSE DURATION: 3 days (3 hours per day)
The course is a 3 day remote class focusing on how to use our AZtec EDS Analysis. The course will be held through Skype video call and time for each day will be agreed with participant. we will provide with all material needed. At the end of the course, a certificate of attendence will be given to the partecipant. Once you have placed and paid for your training order, a team member from Oxford Instruments Nano Analysis will get in touch with you and will request all necessary information prior to the training to make sure all necessary arrangements are put in place.

Oxford Instruments reserves the right to cancel any course up to 14 days before start of a course due to insufficient number of participants. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that before attending a course, the student is familiar with general electron microscopy and basic principles of their analytical system. In addition to courses at our training facilities and online, Oxford Instruments can provide an Applications Specialist onsite to train lab users on your own system. This allows the course to be tailored to your specific needs and applications.
By attending this course, you will become a certified AZtecEnergy EDS user. With hands-on experience and expert advice, this course will teach you the best way to set up your experiments, therefore getting the most from your sample.
The course will take you through experiment optimisation in AZtec for a wide range of scenarios, giving you the tools and methods to consistently apply them. Additionally the course will cover optimal microscope operating parameters and discuss the effects of deviating from these.
This training will ensure that you can confidently analyse materials and present the data in an easily digestible format.
