Both oil based (OS type) and water based (W type) lubricating fluids are available for use with Kemet polishing pastes. They assist Kemet Diamond Products to cut and polish more effectively by absorbing frictional heat and diluting the lapping residue.
Oil based (OS type) is Recommended when polishing tooling, moulds and similar components. Water based (W type) is Recommended for use on all Kemet Polishing Cloths as it helps to extend their life. These lubricants are available for use with Kemet polishing pastes. They are supplied in convenient trigger spray bottles.
