DESCRIPTION

If this product is not in stock the lead time will be approximately 14 days.

The most common varnish for cryogenic installations is GE varnish. It has good chemical resistance, bonds to various materials, and a fast tack time. This insulating varnish is used, for example, when securing or thermally anchoring electrical wires to solid surfaces.

The dried varnish, when heated, can degrade polystyrenes, presumably through the release of phenol from the cured varnish. It has a suggested maximum working temperature of 150°C.
