A Low Loss Transfer tube (LLT) for horizontal feed cryostats. Specifically for Oxford instruments continuous flow cryostats, where the use of a LLT transfer line will reduce the consumption of liquid helium, and extend the base temperature of the cryostat.

The LLT liquid helium transfer tubes have been developed for use with Oxford Instruments’ continuous flow (CF) cryostats. These transfer tubes incorporate the design principles, practices and materials of our Low Loss technology resulting insignificant user benefits:

  • Savings in running costs due to low liquid helium consumption
  • Extended operating range to 2K
  • Use of an LLT transfer line will reduce the consumption of liquid helium and extend the base temperature of the cryostat.
  • A base temperature of better than 2.5 K is normally attainable

If your institution or company doesn’t have any previous business relationship with Oxford Instruments, you will be asked to place at least 3 prepaid orders through the eStore before we can consider your request.

Express shipping (4 to 5 working days) is Yen 6,000 (Free for orders over Yen 180,000)
