Cellulose acetate sheets and tape provide a quick and convenient means of replicating surfaces, particularly from large objects which cannot be sectioned.
This material is cellulose acetate of a thickness 35 micron. It is soluble in acetone.
Conductive carbon adhesive tabs with a thin film of strong adhesive, approximately 12.5mm diameter. Over 99% transparent to EDS, with very small amounts of nickel.
Spectrotabs have a much lower level of impurities than standard carbon (Leit) tabs, avoiding anomalous results during X-ray analysis of small particles and powders.
These are high quality Dewars with a carrying handle and stainless steel outer case. These rust and corrosion resistant Dewars come with a cushioned base, with a fold down handle and insulated lid.
