PROMOTIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. By entering our promotions, giveaways and competitions, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and all rules and guidelines applicable.
  2. The Promoter of this promotion is Oxford Instruments NanoTechnology Tools Limited, trading as Oxford Instruments NanoAnalysis, Halifax Road, High Wycombe, HP12 3SE, UK.
  3. This promotion is not open to any employees of Oxford Instruments Group, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion.
  4. By subscribing to our newsletter, you will receive an email with a code for 10% off your first online order capped at $250 or equivalent dependant on region. This code will entitle you to one entry allowed per person. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted.
  5. No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion however internet access is required.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to offer a promotion. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion without prior notice.
  7. Subscribers should read this statement as their entry into this promotion is an agreement to be bound by such statement.

  9. Any promotional code that we offer is subject to its own terms and conditions.
  10. Only one discount code can be used per order unless specificied otherwise.
  11. Discount codes do not apply to bulk pricing structure. In the event that a discount code is used alongside the bulk pricing, the system will use the bulk prices instead of the discount code.
  12. Discount codes will sometimes have a maximum discount value in which case this cannot be exceeded.
  13. AZtecflex discount codes are unique codes designed for one use per code and per customer.

GENERAL TERMS AND SPECIFIC TERMS

1. These General Terms shall apply in conjunction with the Specific Terms of any promotion. You should therefore read these General Terms in combination with the Specific Terms. Where any Specific Terms conflict with these General Terms, the Specific Terms will take precedence.             
2. We may change these General Terms at any time. You should check our website regularly for any changes that apply from the date they are uploaded.                                                            
3. By entering any promotion you agree that you will be legally bound by both these General Terms and the Specific Terms.                                                                                                             
4. All discount codes and online promotions are open to entrants over 18 years of age at the time of purchase.

EVENT PRIZES

  1. Where the prize for any promotion involves the entrants attendance at (or tickets to) an event, the entrant acknowledges that we are not liable or responsible if any part of the event is cancelled, varied or rescheduled for any reason. If this means that the winner (and/or any accompanying guests) cannot attend the relevant event, we shall be under no obligation to provide any cash or alternative tickets.
  2. Entrants proposing to redeem prizes involving, or participating in any promotion where it involves, travel, stunts or physical challenges should notify us of any medical condition and we may at our absolute discretion require as a condition of entering the promotion or receiving the prize to: (i) submit to a medical examination by a medical practitioner approved by us and obtain medical clearance to participate in the promotion and/or redeem the prize; and/or (ii) execute a legal document to exonerate us from liability in a form prescribed by us in order to participate further in the promotion and/or redeem the prize.                               
  3. Where prizes are not claimed within the period specified in the Specific Terms, we reserve the right to award the relevant to alternative prize winners or not to award them at all.                  
  4. Where promotions are run on either or both of Facebook or Twitter, you acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Twitter, and that Facebook or Twitter has no liability for any element of the promotion.
  5. Any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any third parties unless specified otherwise. All intellectual property remains the property of their respective owners.

 PROMOTION ADMINISTRATION

  1. Oxford Instruments may vary the terms of, or terminate, a promotion at any time where it has reasonable grounds to do so at its absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person.
  2. All decisions relating to the promotion and/or redemption of the prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
  3. Where a promotion involves voting, the accuracy of the pooled results received by us will be deemed to be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. In the event that any provision of these General Terms or any Specific Terms are held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions which shall continue in full force and effect.
  5. These General Terms and the Specific Terms shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with any of these terms.

OXFORD INSTRUMENTS YEAR END PROMOTION 2024

  1. The promotion is sponsored by Oxford Instruments Private Limited, 31 Kaki Bukit Road 3, #05-19, Techlink Building, Singapore 417818 (the “Sponsor”).
  2. Participation in the 15% off eStore promotion (using promo code ESTORE15) is open only to science professionals aged 18 years and older residing in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, and India. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible.
  3. Participation in the tiered gift promotion is open only to science professionals aged 18 years and older residing in Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Thailand. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible.
  4. To qualify for the tiered gift promotion:
    1. Spend $600 USD+ and choose 1 gift from Targus backpack valued at 31 USD, Stanley Quencher valued at 43 USD, and Gigastone 23W Max Wireless charger (3 in 1 magnetic fast charging station) valued at 39 USD.
    2. Spend $1,000 USD+ and choose 2 gifts.

  5. Gifts will be awarded per order based on the tier reached, and the promotion is limited to one promo code per account. Customers must submit their gift selection via the form provided on the thank-you page after completing the order.
  6. The maximum discount per order is capped at $500 USD, and Plasma technology’s estore products, FS-1500 & FS-1500Aud AFM Probes, All training products, support products and software are excluded from the 15% off promotion.
  7. To qualify for a gift, you must meet the required spending tier, complete the gift selection form, provide a correct address and contact information, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Only submissions using company email addresses with valid contact details are eligible for this promotion. The order submission and gift selection date must be within the campaign period, and the order placement date must be no later than 24 December 2024, otherwise, it will be regarded as automatically giving up the campaign qualification.
  8. The amount of the order will be calculated based on the success of the order placed during the campaign period.
  9. Gifts will be distributed centrally by Oxford Instruments after 24 December 2024. Due to the limited number of gifts, if the designated gift is not available, it can be replaced with a gift of the same value.
  10. Promotional products are for scientific research use only and may not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment.
  11. Healthcare Professionals may not participate in this promotion. The term Healthcare Professionals includes individuals (clinical or non-clinical physician, including MDs and MDs/Ph.D.s), physician assistants, nurses, technicians, research coordinators, administrators and purchasing personnel) and entities (including hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing facilities, home health agencies, clinics and group purchasing organizations, managed care organizations, physician group practices, medical directors for health insurance organizations) and their employees and representatives who are involved in the actual provision of health care services.
  12. Government Officials may not participate in this promotion. The term Government Official includes anyone who acts in an official capacity for or on behalf of a government entity, department or agency. Void where prohibited, licensed, or restricted by federal, state, provincial, or local laws, regulations, or agency/institutional policy. Determination of eligibility is at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
  13. The gift is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutions, except by the Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute the gift with one of equal or greater value. No refunds or credits are allowed. All taxes on the gift and reporting thereof are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
  14. If a participant is unreachable, fails to provide a correct address, or does not respond by the deadline specified by the Sponsor, the gift will be forfeited.
  15. Decision of the Sponsor with regard to any matter arising out of this promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding and shall not be susceptible to any dispute;
  16. The Sponsor reserves its right to change, discontinue, extend the promotion and/or the terms and conditions thereof without requiring to give any prior notice to the participants;
  17. To the full extent allowed by law, participants release, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates, directors, officers and employees from all liability for any damages, injury or losses to any person (including death and bodily injury) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the gift or participation in any promotion-related activity or participation in this promotion. The Sponsor has not made any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any gift, including, without limitation, to such gift’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SPONSOR BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY STATUTE OR ON ANY OTHER BASIS FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, MULTIPLE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY ANY WINNER OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY ARISING OUT OF THE SPONSOR'S PERFORMANCE OR FAILURE TO PERFORM ITS OBLIGATIONS RELATING TO THE AWARD OF THE GIFT OR PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES, THE POSSESSION OR USE OF ANY PRODUCT, OR THE PERFORMANCE BY THE SPONSOR OF ANY SERVICES, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE AND WHETHER OR NOT THE SPONSOR IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, DOWNTIME, OR FOR LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS.
  18. All entries and their content become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. By participating the promotion, you are agreeing to receive further information from the Sponsor in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.oxinst.com/corporate-content/privacy .
