Two days of AFM training at an Oxford Instruments, Asylum Research (OIAR) demo facility.
Training is conducted by OIAR personel. Topics may include basic training* as well as specific advanced applications. All advanced training topics require prior notice and are subject to pre-approval. Please note some advanced applications may require travel to Santa Barbara, CA. Pricing does not include travel expense to the customer (e.g. lodging, airfare/car, food, etc). Includes hands-on training for 1-2 students with similar applications and samples. A minimum of two days of training is recommended for novice AFM users.
Minimum 3 weeks advanced notice may be required to confirm scheduling dates. Dates will be confirmed after a PO has been received.
*Basic training includes: Hardware/software overviews, common troubleshooting and maintenance, topographic imaging in contact and AC (Tapping) modes, basic force measurements, cantilever calibration, basic image modification/ analysis.
