FFM Topography is an imaging mode for Jupiter AFMs based on Fast Force Mapping that is much quicker than a conventional trigger-based approach. As the tip scans across the sample surface, the cantilever is oscillated sub resonance to acquire a force curve at each pixel.

A feedback loop on the force is used to track topography. This approach combined with Ergo AutoPilot makes for an exceptionally simple and versatile imaging mode.
